Bae Doona, born on October 11th, 1979 in Seoul, South Korea, is a notable movie actress. Best recognized for her roles in the Wachowski films Cloud Atlas and Jupiter Ascending, she has also appeared in other prominent films such as Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, The Host and Air Doll. In addition to her film work, she starred in the Wachowski Netflix TV series Sense8.
Prior to achieving fame, Bae was scouted by a model talent agency while studying at Hanyang University in 1998. Her acting career took off with her debut role in the television drama School in 1999.
