About Aysegul Aldinc
Ayşegül Aldinç, born on September 28, 1957 in Istanbul, Turkey, is a renowned pop singer and actress. With a prolific career spanning over several decades, she has released multiple albums and appeared in numerous movies and TV shows.
Aldinç’s musical journey took off when she represented Turkey in the Eurovision Song Contest as part of the Modern Folk Trio in Ireland in 1981. Her debut album was released in 1988, catapulting her to national fame with the hit single “Kara Sevda.”
Before rising to prominence in the music industry, Aldinç earned her diploma from Marmara University’s Ceramics Department. She then honed her craft while working as a designer at Yıldız Porcelain Factory for six years before embarking on her musical career alongside performing at casinos.
In addition to her musical accomplishments, Ayşegül made her screen debut in the adventure film “Katırcılar,” directed by Şerif Gören.
