Ayiesha Woods is a rock singer born on July 2, 1979, in Long Island, New York. She is best known for her work as a Christian singer, particularly for her debut album “Introducing Ayiesha Woods,” which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album.
In 2007, she was also nominated for a Dove Award for New Artist of the Year. Before gaining recognition as a musician, Woods lived in various places including Bermuda.
Her grandfather had a career as a professional musician and she herself later became involved with music events such as serving as a judge at the Christian Women in Media Association National Music Showcase in 2013.
