Aurélie Dupont is a renowned French ballerina who was born on January 15, 1973, in Paris, France. She is best known for her illustrious career as a principal dancer with the Paris Opera Ballet and for later becoming the Director of Dance for the company after retiring from dancing in 2015.
Dupont’s journey in dance began when she enrolled in the prestigious Paris Opera Ballet School in 1983. Just four years later, she became an official member of the company, marking the start of her successful professional career.
She is not only celebrated for her exceptional talent but also for being the subject of the documentary film “L’espace d’un instant” (2010).
Besides her professional achievements, Dupont has a personal life as well. She married fellow ballet dancer Jeremie Belingard and together they have two sons named Jacques and Georges.
