About Ashthon Jones
Ashthon Jones, born on February 27th, 1986 in Georgia, is an R&B singer who gained recognition as one of the top thirteen contestants in the tenth season of American Idol. Prior to her appearance on the show, Jones worked as a retail employee in Nashville. She impressed judges with her rendition of Faith Hill‘s “Like We Never Loved at All” during her audition.
After American Idol, Jones went on to collaborate with rappers Big K.R.I.T. and Lecrae before releasing her debut single “Lookout” in March 2012. Born to Michelle Anderson, she spent her early years in Valdosta, Georgia and later moved to Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
