About Ashley Callingbull-Burnham
Ashley Callingbull-Burnham is a Canadian pageant contestant born on October 21, 1989. She is widely recognized as the first Canadian and First Nation woman to be crowned Mrs. Universe, achieving this milestone in August 2015 after finishing as the Canadian national runner-up during the 2013 Miss Universe Canada pageant.
Prior to her pageantry career, she studied acting and drama at Concordia University in Edmonton. In addition to her pageant success, she has also starred as Sheila Delaronde in the Canadian TV drama Blackstone and participated in the fourth season of Amazing Race Canada with her stepfather.
In 2015, Ashley married her husband Ryan Burnham and has one sister named Mariah. She was born into the Enoch Cree Nation outside of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
