About Ashlee Baracy
Ashlee Baracy (born April 22, 1985) is a pageant contestant hailing from Westland, Michigan. She gained widespread recognition after being crowned Miss Michigan in 2008 and later becoming a Top Ten finalist in the 2009 Miss America pageant. Prior to her pageant success, Baracy worked as a traffic reporter for an NBC-affiliated station in Detroit, Michigan.
Baracy graduated from John Glenn High School in Westland before enrolling at the University of Michigan. Her earlier accolades include holding the title of Michigan’s Junior Miss in 2003.
Known for presenting choreographed jazz dances during the talent portions of her pageant appearances, Baracy also utilized her platform to raise awareness about breast cancer due to her mother’s struggle with the disease.
