Ashima Franklin, born on February 18, 1980 in Mobile, Alabama, is a standup comedian who gained prominence for her performances on Showtime’s Kattpacalypse and Bounce TV’s Off the Chain. She also worked as a writer for Russell Simmons.
Before gaining fame, Franklin earned the moniker “The O.B.: Original Baby Momma” after continuing to perform standup comedy until the night before giving birth to her son.
