Asahina Aya (born October 6, 1993) is a Japanese model and actress. She is known for portraying Kuina in the Netflix thriller series Alice in Borderland. Aya has gained popularity through her asahina_aya Instagram account, where she shares modeling photos with over 1.6 million followers.
Before pursuing a career in entertainment, Aya worked as a midwife’s assistant after graduating from Sumoto Industrial High School. In addition to her role in Alice in Borderland, she played Mirei Hoshimiya in the television drama Girl Gun Lady and has made appearances in more than 50 episodes of various television productions throughout her ongoing career.
Aya married Japanese dancer and actor Kenjiro Yamashita in 2021.
