April Vokey, born on April 9, 1983 in Canada, is a well-known angler and founder of Fly Gal Ventures. She guides fellow anglers to some of Western Canada’s best fly fishing spots and has appeared on television shows such as 60 Minutes Sports, Buccaneers and Bones, and Close Up Kings. Vokey grew up in British Columbia, Canada where she developed her passion for fishing by age 16. Today, she hosts the popular fishing podcast Anchored with April Vokey. In 2014, she got married.
