About April Richardson
April Richardson (born May 1, 1979) is an American comedian known for her stand-up career and television appearances. She has been a frequent contestant on the Comedy Central series @midnight and a round table guest on Chelsea Lately.
Prior to her comedic career, Richardson graduated from Georgia State University with dual degrees in journalism and sociology. After graduation, she moved to California to work for a health magazine which unfortunately folded shortly after she was hired.
Richardson has also performed at various comedy festivals including SF Sketchfest, and in December 2015, she began co-hosting TruTV’s weekly show Almost Genius alongside Chris Fairbanks. She was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia.
