About April Carrion
April Carrion, born on April 23, 1989 in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, is a reality star best known for her appearance as a contestant on season 6 of LogoTV’s RuPaul’s Drag Race. Although she was eliminated in episode 4, she gained prominence through her participation on the show.
Prior to her rise to fame, Carrion began studying at La Escuela de Artes Plasticas in 2007 and went on to win the most coveted art award offered by the school. In 2011, she also achieved success by winning Miss Krash Puerto Rico.
Aside from her television endeavors, Carrion has shown an interest in gender and gender expression, exploring these themes through fashion and drag. Her documentary titled Mala Mala delves into this topic and was released in 2015.
Carrion was born as Jason Carrion in Puerto Rico where she grew up with two older brothers.
