Anne Schedeen, born on January 8, 1949 in Portland, Oregon, is a TV actress known for her role as Kate Tanner on the popular NBC situation comedy ALF. She also starred in the ABC soap opera Paper Dolls and appeared in episodes of Judging Amy, Cheers, and Three’s Company among other series.
Before gaining fame from ALF, she had guest roles on NBC’s Ironside and ABC’s The Six Million Dollar Man in the early 1970s. While not as active in film as television, she appeared in movies such as Embryo and Second Thoughts during the 1970s and early 1980s.
Born Luanne Ruth Schedeen, Anne spent her early days in Portland before marrying Christopher Barrett in 1984. The couple has one daughter.
