About Anne Kansiime
Anne Kansiime is a well-known Ugandan comedian born on April 13, 1987. She gained popularity as the star of the Kenyan television comedy program Don’t Mess With Kansiime. Additionally, she has a successful YouTube comedy channel with over 1.3 million subscribers.
Before rising to fame, Kansiime attended Makerere University in Uganda and began performing with various theatrical troupes in Kampala.
She has received numerous accolades throughout her career, including the 2013 BEFFTA Best Comedian Award and the 2014 AIRTEL Women of Substance Award.
Born in Western Uganda to a homemaker mother and a banker father, Kansiime was previously married to Gerald Ojok from 2013 until their divorce in 2017. She shares a daughter with musician Skylanta.
