Anna Held (1872-03-19) was a Polish-born stage performer, known for her association with Florenz Ziegfeld Jr. and as the inspiration behind the Ziegfeld Follies.
Early in her career, she performed in Jewish theaters in London and Paris. During World War I, she also showed her support by performing for French soldiers and raising money for the war effort.
In 1894, Held married Maximo Carrera. The couple had a daughter before divorcing in 1908.
