Anna Cropper was a British television actress, born on May 13, 1938, in England. She is known for her portrayal of Mary Hodgson in the 1978 BBC docudrama The Lost Boys.
Prior to her acting career, she studied at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. Throughout her career, she appeared on various TV shows including Emergency Ward 10, Midsomer Murders, and three episodes of the British soap opera Coronation Street.
Cropper married actor William Roache in 1961 with whom she starred alongside on Coronation Street but they divorced in 1974. Together they had two children.
