About Ann Elizabeth Carson
Ann Elizabeth Carson is a Canadian poet, author, and artist born on March 19, 1929 in Toronto. Her literary works include My Grandmother’s Hair and The Risks of Remembrance. In 2005, she released Shadows Light, a collection featuring both art and poetry.
Carson began writing at a young age and published her first works during high school and college. She later earned a Master’s degree in counseling in 1970 before pursuing a career as a psychotherapist.
Besides her professional accomplishments, Carson is also known for her personal life. She was born in Toronto, Ontario and has four children as well as several grandchildren.
