About Anh Duong
Anh Duong is a French-American artist, actress, and model born on October 25, 1960 in Bordeaux, France. She is known for her visual diary of self-portraits and gained recognition with her debut solo exhibition at the Sperone Westwater Gallery in 1991.
Duong received her education at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, where she studied architecture. During her early years, she worked as a model for Vogue, Christian Lacroix, and John Galliano.
Aside from modeling and artistry, Duong briefly pursued acting and appeared in films including “My Best Friend’s Wedding” (1997) and “I Shot Andy Warhol” (1996).
Her mother was of Spanish descent while her father was of Vietnamese descent. She was previously married to Barton Hubbard Quillen until their divorce in 2008.
