About Andreina Pinto
Andreina Pinto (born September 10, 1991) is a professional swimmer from Maracay, Venezuela. She is best known for excelling in the 200, 400, and 800 freestyle swimming as well as team relay events. Pinto has represented Venezuela at various international competitions such as World Championships, Pan American Games, and Olympic Games.
Pinto’s interest in swimming began at an early age and she made her debut on the world stage at the World Championships in 2007. Her breakthrough moment came in 2008 when she competed for Venezuela at the Olympic Games. In 2009, she set multiple Venezuelan Records in several freestyle events.
In addition to her athletic achievements, Pinto was chosen to be the flag bearer for the Venezuelan delegation at the 2011 Pan American Games. Born and raised in Maracay, Venezuela, Pinto often shares glimpses of her personal life on social media including a photo with her father on Instagram in June of 2017.
