Andrea Navedo (born October 10, 1977) is an American TV actress from The Bronx, New York. She is best known for her portrayal of Xo Villanueva on The CW series Jane the Virgin. Additionally, she has appeared in several episodes of CBS’s Blue Bloods and played the recurring role of Ana Cordova on NBC’s Law & Order. Navedo was also a series regular on the soap operas Guiding Light and One Life to Live during the late 1990s.
Prior to her television career, Navedo graduated from the State University of New York at Old Westbury with a degree in theater and made her debut as Linda Soto on ABC’s One Life to Live.
In addition to her television work, in 2011 Andrea played a recurring role on HBO’s series How to Make It in America.
Navedo was raised in a Latino-American family in the Bronx and currently lives there with her husband and two children named Nico and Ava.
