Andrea Bowen, born on March 4, 1990, in Columbus, Ohio, is a TV Actress and SAG Award-winning actress known for her role as Julie Mayer on the series Desperate Housewives. Before gaining fame on television, she performed in Broadway musicals such as The Sound of Music and Jane Eyre. Notably, she was the youngest actress ever cast for the Les Miserables character named Young Cosette.

Bowen has used her platform as a star to work with non-profit organizations to raise awareness for animal rights and childhood cancer research. Her performance in the 2007 film Girl, Positive earned her the 2008 Prism Award for best performance in a TV Movie or Miniseries and a 2008 WIN Award.

She comes from a large family with five older siblings named Jessica, Jillian, Alex, Graham, and Cameron.
