About Anaysha
Anaysha, born on November 12, 1989 in Brooklyn, New York, is a gospel singer signed to Light Records. She gained recognition as a backup singer on BET’s Sunday Best and her single “Holy One” debuted on the BMI Trailblazers of Gospel Music Live album in 2013.
She had her first public performance at her parents’ church when she was just two years old. During her teens, Anaysha pursued acting and appeared in films such as Mo’ Better Blues and Life with Mikey.
In 2014, she was featured as an artist on Anita Wilson‘s gospel album Vintage Worship. Anayshas father Eric Figueroa served as a bishop and she often sang around the house as a child following in the footsteps of her older sister Timiney. In May 2012, she married Chris Sean Cooper and they have a son named Chris Jr.
