Amy Walsh, born on March 27, 1987 in Bradford, England, is a British soap opera actress. She is best known for her role as Tracy Shankley on the long-running British TV series Emmerdale.
Walsh made her debut on Emmerdale in 2014 and has since appeared in over 700 episodes of the show. Prior to her role on Emmerdale, she portrayed Jenifique McQueen on another popular soap opera, Hollyoaks.
Before gaining prominence as a television actress, Walsh had roles in film and theater. In 2011, she played Prissy Polly in Horrid Henry: The Movie and followed that with a portrayal of Princess Fiona in the West End production of Shrek the following year.
An interesting fact about Walsh’s career is that her character on Emmerdale was originally meant to be a guest spot but due to positive reception from producers and viewers alike, she became a regular cast member. She also made an appearance on Celebrity Chase in 2018.
