Amy Wadge (born December 22, 1975) is a songwriter from Backwell, England. She’s known for her collaboration with Ed Sheeran on the Grammy-winning song “Thinking Out Loud,” as well as for her solo albums Bump, Acousting, and Rivers Apart.
Wadge began writing songs at the age of nine and released her first single at 16. The success of “Thinking Out Loud” came about when she needed help paying off her mortgage, leading to Sheeran allowing her to contribute to his album Multiply.
In 2011, Wadge married Alun ap Brinely.
