About Amy Elizabeth Stoch
Amy Elizabeth Stoch, born on December 13, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio, is an American television and film actress known for her role as Britta Englund on Days of Our Lives. She gained further recognition for portraying Missy in the Bill & Ted film series including Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, and Bill & Ted Face the Music.
Prior to her acting career, Stoch earned a Bachelor of Arts in theatre from Ashland University followed by a Master’s degree at California State University, Northridge. She later completed a Ph.D. in Theatre History, Theory, and Criticism at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In addition to her acting work, she also teaches Critical Studies courses at AMDA College for the Performing Arts in Los Angeles.
Stoch was married to actor Robert Poynton in 1987 with whom she had a son before divorcing in 2004.
