Amir Jahari is a Malaysian pop star and actor who gained fame as a contestant on the ninth season of Akademi Fantasia in 2011. He later formed the groups Go Guerrilla and The Amir Jahari Project. Born on May 31, 1992, in Malaysia, he began his career by busking on the streets of Kuala Lumpur before rising to stardom. At the 20th Anugerah Industri Muzik, he received four nominations including Best Music Video, Best Album Cover, Best Musical Arrangement In A Song, and Best Engineered Album. In 2013, he married Kartini Ismail and they have a daughter named Nur Izzah Amaani.
