Amanda Mealing, born on April 22, 1968 in London, England, is a TV actress known for her roles in Holby City and Casualty as Connie Beauchamp. She has also appeared in Grange Hill, Jake’s Progress, The Grand, The Lakes and Strike Back: Project Dawn.
At the age of 6, Mealing made her first professional performance for a Julie Andrews special on BBC television. In addition to her successful acting career, she overcame breast cancer and became an ambassador for Breast Cancer Care in early 2010.
Mealing married Richard Sainsbury in 1998 and has two children named Milo and Otis. Her brother Stephen passed away from a heroin overdose when she was 15 years old.
