Amal Alamuddin Clooney is a barrister at Doughty Street Chambers best known for representing high-profile clients like Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, and Yulia Tymoshenko, former Ukrainian prime minister. Not only that but she’s also an activist and author who has been recognized with the Entertainment Law Jack J. Katz Memorial Award by New York University School of Law. Amal has worked on several United Nations commissions as well as in the Office of the Prosecutor at the UN Special Tribunal for Lebanon. In 2014, she tied the knot with Hollywood star George Clooney and together they have two twin children named Ella and Alexander. Growing up, she had three younger siblings – Tala, Samer and Ziad – whose parents are Ramzi and Baria Alamuddin. In 2015, Amal took up a case against former UK Prime Minister Edward Heath which was re-opened by Ireland’s government.
