About Alyssa Chia
Alyssa Chia is a Taiwanese television actress born on October 7, 1974, in Taipei. She is known for her leading roles in the dramas Da Han Tian Zi, The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber, and Lady Wu: The First Empress.
Chia briefly attended Beijing Film Academy before dropping out to be with her family. She was later scouted by an agent and began hosting numerous children’s programs. In 2014, she led the feature film (Sex) Appeal and in 2015 she starred in First Of May.
In terms of personal life, Alyssa Chia was married to businessman Sun Zhihao from 2005 to 2010. In 2015, she married actor Xiu Jie Kai. They have three daughters – Angeline, Bubu, and Bobo.
