About Alyja Daphne Santiago
Alyja Daphne Santiago, born on January 20, 1996 in Cavite, Philippines, is a professional volleyball player known as Jaja Santiago. She has represented the Philippine national team and played with the PSL All Stars at the 2016 FIVB Club World Championship.
Sports have been a significant part of her life since an early age due to her father’s basketball career. Her volleyball journey began with the National University Bulldogs before she embarked on her professional career in 2014 with the PLDT Home Telpad Turbo Boosters. Subsequently, she joined PSL Manila and Foton Tornadoes.
As the fourth of five children, Jaja comes from a family where sports excellence runs deep – her brother Axel Leonard Santiago and sister Aleona Denise “Dindin” Santiago are both renowned championship volleyball players.
