Alori Joh, born on December 16th, 1986 in California, was a renowned R&B singer known for her vocal contributions to songs by artists signed to the Top Dawg Entertainment label, including Kendrick Lamar. Tragically, she passed away in February 2012 under circumstances believed to be suicide.
Prior to gaining recognition as a singer, Alori Joh secured a record deal with independent label Streetbeat Entertainment at only fifteen years old. A notable detail about her career is that she was a regular performer on “Soul Train” until the show’s cancellation in 2009.
