Alicia Villarreal is a Mexican singer who’s made quite a name for herself with her albums, like 2006’s Orgullo De Mujer. She was also part of Grupo Limite, and they won Best New Artist at the 9th Lo Nuestro Awards. She first got noticed when she appeared on Pipo, showing off her singing talent at a young age. Her fourth solo album La Jefa was released to great acclaim – it debuted at #1 on Billboards Regional Mexican Albums chart. Tragically, Alicia lost her brother Jose in 2009 after he passed away in a car accident. In terms of relationships, she was married to Ezequiel Cuevas from 1991-1993 and Arturo Carmona from 1998-2001 before eventually getting married to Cruz Martinez in 2003. Her 2004 single Tu Ausencia featured Spanish pop icon David Bisbal as a guest vocalist.
