Alicia Malone is an Australian journalist, film reporter, and TV host best known for her series Malone’s Movie Minute. Born on September 4, 1981 in Australia, she has become a correspondent with American networks such as MTV, Fandango, AMC Movie Talk, IGN and various Australian networks.
Before gaining recognition as a journalist and TV host, Malone created a film club in school where she was elected president. She then worked in a video store before landing a job with a television station where she remained for 6 years.
In addition to her work on television and as a film critic, Malone was involved with the Movie Network Channels where she hosted several movie-centric shows including Movie Juice, Premiere, and hosted live red carpet events for the AFI Awards and Tropfest Short Film Festival.
Malone was born in Australia and lived in Sydney before moving to Los Angeles, California.
