Alice White, born on August 24, 1904 in Paterson, New Jersey, was a renowned movie actress known for her bubbly blonde persona. Hailing from the vaudeville stage and early Hollywood era, she appeared in notable films such as The Sea Tiger, The Satin Woman, American Beauty and Breakfast at Sunrise.
Prior to her rise to fame, White started her career in Hollywood as a secretary and script girl. Her striking beauty eventually led her to transition in front of the camera. Noteworthy is that she was cast by Warner Brothers as a singer-actress – considered the studio’s equivalent to Clara Bow.
