Alice Playten (August 28, 1947 – June 25, 2011) was an American movie actress born in New York. She appeared in films such as Legend and also lent her vocal talents to animated films including Heavy Metal and Doug’s 1st Movie.
Her career began with the 1959 Broadway musical Gypsy. She won a Theatre World Award for her performance in the play Henry, Sweet Henry in 1968 and was nominated for a Tony award.
She was married to Joshua White until her death in 2011.
