Alice Faye (born May 5, 1915 in New York City, New York) was a renowned movie actress known for her roles in State Fair and Hello, Frisco, Hello. Before becoming a successful actress and singer, she sang chorus in vaudeville shows and made her debut in George White’s Scandals in 1934.
Throughout her career, Faye also appeared in the 1936 film King of Burlesque. She was married to bandleader Phil Harris and they had two daughters together born in 1942 and 1944.
