Alexis Gomez, born on May 20, 1992 in Ohio, is a country singer-songwriter known for her appearance as a Top 8 finalist on the fourteenth season of Fox’s reality singing competition American Idol.

Growing up, Gomez honed her musical talents by singing and playing with her family band. She had her first performance at the age of 8 at a coffee shop in Centerville, Ohio. Before making it to American Idol, she auditioned three times and finally made it to the top 16 finalists in 2015.

Throughout her career, Gomez has been supported by her family members who have actively participated in various aspects of her music journey.
