Alex Wagner is an American journalist and writer known for her work on The Circus on Showtime, Now with Alex Wagner on MSNBC, and as co-anchor of CBS This Morning Saturday. She was born on November 27, 1977, in Washington, D.C., United States.
Wagner attended Brown University where she graduated in 1999 with a major in Art History and Literature. She began her career as a cultural correspondent for the Center for American Progress before becoming editor-in-chief of The Fader Magazine in 2003. Later, she worked as a White House correspondent for Politics Daily under the AOL News brand.
In addition to her television work, Wagner serves as senior editor for The Atlantic magazine and has authored the book Futureface, which explores her Burmese American ancestry. In 2015, she married Sam Kass and they have a son named Cy.
