Alex Hook is a Canadian TV actress born on November 5, 2001 in Toronto, Canada. She gained widespread recognition for her role as the title character Frankie Gaines in the Nickelodeon series I Am Frankie in 2017.
Prior to her rise to fame, Hook began her acting career by securing commercials with The Family Channel. Her first acting appearance was in a 2012 episode of Motives & Murders: Cracking the Case.
In addition to her work on I Am Frankie, she made a guest appearance in an episode of Handsome Devils in 2014.
Born and raised in Toronto, Hook later moved with her parents and older brother to Kingston in 2008.
