Alessandra Negrini, born on August 29, 1970, in Sao Paulo, Brazil, is a Brazilian TV actress. She gained recognition for her roles in popular television shows such as Paraiso Tropical, Boogie Oogie and Lado a Lado. Her work in film has also received critical acclaim, particularly for her performances in Cleopatra (2007) and Two Rabbits (2012).
Before rising to fame, Negrini grew up in the Santos neighborhood of Sao Paulo and made her television debut on Olho no Olho in 1995.
Negrini’s portrayal of twins on Paraiso Tropical earned her a Minha Award and nominations at the Arte Qualidade Awards and Extra de Televisao Awards.
She was previously married to actor Murilo Benicio and singer Otto. Negrini has a son named Antonio with Benicio and a daughter named Betina with Otto.
