About Alana Atkins
Alana Atkins, born on May 8, 1986 in Gardena, California, is best known as a member of the influential Atkins family. She is the sister of Mary Mary singers Tina and Erica Atkins, with her other sister Goo-Goo being responsible for their styling. Alana graduated with a degree in biological science from Cerritos College in 2006 and later earned a Bachelor of Science in animal science from UC Davis in 2009.
She and her family members are prominently featured on the popular WE tv reality series “Mary Mary,” which takes its name from the original musical group. Alana was born to Eddie and Thomasina Atkins and has six sisters – Erica, Tina, Maliea, Thomasina, Shanta, Delisa – as well as one brother named Darrel.
