Akia Jones, born on September 23, 1996, in England, is an R&B singer who gained fame as a former member of the R&B boy band MiC LOWRY. The group became well known for their single “Supermodels” and their 2015 EP titled The Show.
Before rising to prominence, Akia joined forces with his four bandmates in 2011 to form MiC LOWRY. Interestingly, all members of the group grew up within a mile of one another.
While with MiC LOWRY, Akia achieved notable accolades such as winning the MOBO Unsung Award and performing at the MOBO Awards pre-party. Additionally, the group has amassed a strong following on YouTube with over 220,000 subscribers.
