Afton Williamson (born July 17, 1985) is an American television actress known for her role as Police Officer Talia Bishop in the ABC police procedural The Rookie. She also appeared in the 2019 Netflix film Otherhood as Julia and portrayed Officer Wiggins in HBO’s limited series The Night Of.
Williamson graduated from Eastern Michigan University and earned her Master’s degree from the Alabama Shakespeare Festival. In August 2019, she publicly announced that she quit The Rookie due to experiencing racial discrimination, sexual harassment, and assault.
