About Addison Van Buer
Addison Van Buer is a metal singer and bassist known for her work with the post hardcore band Even If It Kills Me. She gained recognition for her clean vocals on tracks such as “Still Alive” and “The Sky Is Falling, The Sky Is Falling!” alongside bandmate Josh Vogel’s scream vocals. In addition to her musical career, Van Buer has also garnered attention through her eponymous YouTube channel where she shares cover songs.
Van Buer began singing at 12 and started learning guitar at 14. She joined forces with Vogel in October 2013 after connecting through the Los Angeles Craigslist musicians section following her move to the city. Their debut album, Hope On the Horizon, was released in January of 2015.
