About Ada Monzon
Ada Monzon (born May 12, 1965) is a Puerto Rican television meteorologist known for her work on WIPR TV and Univision Radio. She holds the distinction of being the first female American Meteorological Society Fellow and Certified Broadcaster Meteorologist in Latin America. Before gaining fame as a meteorologist, she earned a Master’s degree in Meteorology from Florida State University.
In September 2020, Monzon revealed that she had tested positive for COVID-19. She hails from Puerto Rico.
