Abi-Maria Gomes is a Brazilian reality television personality best known for her appearances on the CBS reality series Survivor. She was born on October 29, 1971 in Brazil. Gomes has appeared on both Survivor: Philippines and Survivor: Cambodia and gained recognition as an entrepreneur with the introduction of the award-winning cocktail line Xi Acai.
Prior to her fame, she was initially recruited for Survivor: Tocantins but was not chosen due to concerns about her close proximity to the shooting location potentially giving her an unfair advantage. During the marooning of Survivor: Philippines, she tore her ACL and required surgery.
Gomes’ father is Brazilian artist Gomes de Souza. She also dated fellow Survivor cast member Pete Yurkowski.
