About Abby Dahlkemper
Abby Dahlkemper is a professional soccer player born on May 13, 1993 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She currently plays as a defender for the North Carolina Courage in the National Women’s Soccer League and joined the U.S. women’s national team in 2016, contributing to their victory in the 2019 World Cup.
Prior to her professional career, Dahlkemper played for MVLA Avalanche and attended Sacred Heart Preparatory where she also played soccer. In 2010, she was recognized as the Gatorade California Girls Soccer Player of the Year.
Dahlkemper’s parents are Andrew and Susan Dahlkemper. Recently, she married fellow soccer player Aaron Schoenfeld on January 5, 2021.
