Courtney Kupets is an Olympic gymnast born on July 27, 1986 in Bedford, Texas. She has had a successful career as a gymnast, winning the Bronze medal at the 2004 Olympics in Athens and the silver in the team competition. Kupets began her training in gymnastics at the age of 3 and quickly showcased her talent by earning a place on the national team at just 13 years old. During her Olympic performance, she earned the highest team score on the balance beam but struggled with a low score on the floor exercise due to a leg injury. Coming from a family of athletes, Kupets trained alongside her sister at the elite Richmond Olympiad Gymnastics Academy in Virginia.
