About Maria Brink
Maria Brink is a metal singer known for her work as the lead vocalist and pianist for the heavy metal band In This Moment. She was born on December 17, 1977, in Schenectady, New York.
In 2005, she co-founded In This Moment with guitarist Chris Howorth under the name Dying Star before changing it due to musical direction issues. The band’s debut album, Beautiful Tragedy, was released in 2007.
Their third album debuted at #40 on the Billboard 200 chart, while their fourth album Blood reached #15. Brink also performed with In This Moment on their live album Blood at the Orpheum, which was released in January of 2014.
She is a mother to a son named Davion.
