Astrid Smeplass, born on October 29, 1996, in Rennebu, Norway, is a pop singer who gained recognition as a top five finalist on the Norwegian version of Pop Idol in 2013. Since then, she has released singles such as “Shattered” and “2AM.” Known for her talents beyond singing; she also signed with Sony/ATV Music Publishing as one of their youngest songwriters.

Prior to her fame, Astrid began playing the piano at the age of six and later learned to play various other instruments while also honing her skills in singing and songwriting.

Although primarily recognized for her original music, Astrid has also released cover renditions of popular tracks like “FourFiveSeconds” and “Undressed.”
